Green Masala Egg Curry

Egg Curry is one of my favourite dish. I can have egg prepared in any form. In fact every one in my family loves egg. I have posted some egg recipes like Spicy Egg Curry, Mangalorean Recipe and Egg with Onion Recipe.

I got this recipe from my mom's friend who visited us last week. I got some more recipes from her which I will post later. I made this dish for the first time and it turned out really good.

How to Make Green Masala Egg Curry?

Green Masala Egg Curry

Ingredients


Boiled Egg -  4
Onion - 1 Large
Tomato - 1
Garlic - 1 Whole
Ginger - 1 Inch
Green Chili  - 4
Cinnamon - 1/2 inch
Cloves - 4
Black Cardamom - 1/4 Tsp
Mace - Small Piece
Star Anise - 1 Leaf
Coriander Leaves - 1/4 Cup
Salt - As Per Taste
Oil - 1 Tbsp

For Tempering


Onion - 1 Small
Mustard Seeds - 1/4 Tsp
Garlic - 5 Cloves
Curry Leaves - 6
Oil - 1 Tbsp


Instruction

Cook Onion Tomato And Garlic

Cut the boiled egg in 4 or 2 part. Now heat a pan and add oil in it. Add chopped onion, tomato and garlic to it. Cook till onion is soft and transparent. Switch of the stove and let it cool down.
Grind The Masala
Green Masala Paste

Now transfer the cooked onion, tomato and garlic to blender along with ginger, green chili, cinnamon, black cardamom, cloves, mace, star anise and coriander leaves and some water . Grind it to from a fine paste.
Tempering

For tempering heat a pan and add oil to it. Add mustard seeds and let it splutter. Now add chopped onion, garlic and curry leaves to the pan. Cook till onion is soft and transparent.
Add Green Masala Paste
Add Boiled Egg

Now add grinded paste and salt to the pan. Cook till it comes to boil. Now add boiled eggs and cook for 2 to 3 min more.

Your Green Masala Egg Curry is ready to serve.
Serve Green Masala Egg Curry

Serve it hot with chapatti, roti or rice.
